At long last a NEW episode, now that I've finished editing and  condensing the episodes from season one. Here it is!!! Now some of you may recognize some of the dialogue in one section. Thats because it's from the Manga. As some of you may have noticed, I do this occasionally. So credit for that part of the writing obviously goes to sui Ishida.

The instant Lace’s eyes met Ayato’s, panic flooded her chest and her legs tensed, ready to run, All former camaraderie having fled. Why was he here? Had be been sent to collect her again? Did she even want to resist? All this time and she had finally begun to think that Tatara had decided to leave her in peace. Was it all a charade?
“You don’t need to run, I’m not gonna make you go anywhere,” Ayato said, remaining where he was across the street.
Lace didn’t respond immediately, she was too busy calculating. On the off chance that Ayato was lying—which was entirely likely— she knew she probably couldn’t outrun him. Ayato was still faster. And without the use of her bikaku, she couldn’t take him on; she’d never get close enough to use her Koukaku. “Then what do you want?” she inquired, her eyes scanning the streets for a likely escape route, “Clearly you aren’t he

Prologue
What is a ghoul? According to most humans, it’s something that shouldn’t exist. What is a human? According to most ghouls, it’s sustenance. But there are always outliers. Like the Manager and his employees that used to run the coffee shop in the twentieth ward. Like the rare humans that form bonds with ghouls, despite knowing what they are.
Yet the cycle of loss and fear remains unbroken despite these small cries against our respective natures. We both love and lose in equal measure, and in our world, peace is fleeting and happiness a mere mirage. We are star-crossed.
We are separate, yet connected inextricably in a web created by our endlessly intersecting threads…our stories. This is just one of many.
